Assignment 1

It's comes to the last part of photoshop learning.
For this last one, i decided to use my previous work and add on a 3D solid in my work as my final e wallpaper.
first of all, i had found a colourful cube.

Next,  i find a picture of FOM building. then i select pixel on that picture and click Ctrl + X to cut the picture. Then, i click  Filter >> Vanishing Point. i used the create plane tool to select the cube.

After that, i click Ctrl + V to paste the FOM building here. Then i use Ctrl + T to resize the picture and fix in the cube.

Then i click OK. Now, the FOM building is appear in the cube. Then, i used the same way again, to paste another two pictures which are E-bee and MMU gate. After that, i change those picture opacity. Then i make it merge visible.

Next, i use quick selection tool to select the cube and put it in my previous work. The following is my final work for MMB assignment 1. =D

Tut 3 & 4 - Retouching & Enhancing

This are all the materials i used for retouching & enhancing.

First of all, i used the field as the background. I duplicate the layer and set the blending mode as mutiply and the opacity is 40%. 

Then, i use gradient tool and applied it on the background .The effect is it looks a bit darker. Next, i use quick selection tool to select the people and put it on .

After that, i click on the "people" and select pixel. Next, i choose the Brush tool and colour that i want then brush on the people.

Now, the people become colourful after i brush it. Next, i added mmu logo and use text tool to type "FOM Open day" and "21/3/2011".

I feel like the left bottom there not so nice because it's empty. So i used "clone stamp tool" and click "Alt" on the grass, after that clone on the empty place. Then, i type "multimedia university" and rotate it. Besides, i added an E-Bee at bottom.

I feel like the "colourful people" not so nice ,then i added some effect on it. i add "drop shadow" ,"outer glow", "bevel and Emboss", and "satin" . After added on, the effect made the "people" nicer.

Next, i add some effect on the other text too. This photo show all the effect i added.

something about proposal - final assignment

We begin our final assignment for digital media I after Dr.Ken Neo lecture. He told us how we should start our final assignment. After we choose a tutorial leader for our section, we had discussed what topic to pick as our assignment. We had discussed in tutorial class and also Faceabook group. At the end, we had choose STATE as our topic. After that, we named our group name as Jupiter and we picked Malacca as our topic after some dicussion with my group members. My group are going to do a website about visiting to Malacca - A' Famosa.

The following are some information in our initial proposal :

Objectives:
1. To promote Malacca which is the historical place in Malaysia and also well known by others countries.
2. To enhance the knowledge about history of Malacca.

3. To promote features of Malacca in order to boost tourism industry in Malaysia. 

Demographics of the end-user/target audience : 
Our target audience are locals and foreign tourists since Malacca is one of the historical place in Malaysia.

Sub-topics:

Our sub-topics included introduction, history of A'Famose, archaeological findings, tips for travelers and how could tourists go there.

Job-assigns:

Im the leader for my group and i have assign task to every of my group members. My own job is design the website and collect and insert all the infomation that my members found. Every member will not only do their own job, but we will help each other to collect more infomation and make our website more attractive.

Tutorial 2-layering

 First of all, i choose a FOM building as the background , then i use quick selection to select the mmu logo and drag it on it.

Next, i change the background opacity from 100% to 75%.

Then i add one more FOM building at the lower right corner and rotate it a little bit.

next, i use type tools to type "FOM" and "Open Day" , then i click select pixels the words.

After select pixels, i click the gradient tool and choose colours and drag a line on the "open day" word.

I use the same way to make the "FOM" word and also the date.

Next, i add an E-bee on the picture. After that i click clouds.

I choose green colour as the cloud.

Then i drag the cloud layer to the bottom. This picture show the background become a little bit greenish. 

Next, i click layer style and choose stroke. i choose black colour, the size is 10px and the position is inside.

This picture show the effect of the stroke. 

This is also my final work for tutorial 2-layering.

Tutorial 1-selection

This are the raw materials that i used for assignment.

first, i use quick selection to select the macot. besides i use zoom tool and click ''Alt'' to zoom in and click ''z'' to zoom out the picture.

 next, i use quick selection and also magic wand to select the FOM building.

By using the same tool, i use quick selection to select the graduation hat.

In this picture, i use quick selection tool and magic wand as well to select the board.

After that, i drag all the picture in a new A4 size paper.

This is the final one, i use duplicate to make the copy of marcot.

I use the type tool to type the "FOM Open Day and 21st March 2012".

In between the whole, i use Ctrl + D to diselect, use move tool to move those pictures, use Ctrl + T (free transform) to resize those pictures.
